Dr. Mike Urbaitis grew up in Tampa, FL. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville. From there, he moved to Milwaukee, WI to study at the Marquette University School of Dentistry on a scholarship from the US Navy.
After graduating from Marquette, Dr. Mike completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, before serving two years on an aircraft carrier homeported in Japan.
Having finished his tenure in the Navy at Naval Station Great Lakes in North Chicago, IL, Dr. Mike is now an active member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, where he also participates in local study clubs like the Keystone Dental Study Club and the prestigious Milwaukee Dental Forum – the nation’s oldest continuously meeting dental study club.
A strong believer in giving back to the community, Dr. Mike enjoys donating his time and efforts in various ways, including volunteering at the WDA Mission of Mercy, mentoring Marquette Dental students, and hosting Glendale Dental’s Annual Free Dental Day for Veterans.
Outside of dentistry, Mike keeps active by running, cycling, golfing, traveling, and by attending concerts and sporting events (Go Packers, Brewers, and Bucks!).
